Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by the team of Himalayan Hidden Trails and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the city on your own.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
A guided sightseeing tour will take you to some of the most iconic UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu, including Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu (1,355m) to Sotikhola (730m) – 6 to 7 hours The day starts with a morning jeep ride from Kathmandu at around 8 AM after breakfast. The drive passes through hilly landscapes, terraced paddy fields, and alongside the Trishuli River. The route takes you through Thankot, Galchi, Dharke, Malekhu, Dhading, Golbhanjyang, Salentar, Arughat, and along the Budhi Gandaki River before reaching Sotikhola.
Day 4: Sotikhola to Gonggong Village

Day 4: Trek from Sotikhola to Gonggong Village (1,000m) A hidden trail, unknown to most trekkers, leads to the picturesque village of Gonggong. This unique route offers a peaceful hiking experience through lush landscapes. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by Sushi Dai, a local porter from the company, and enjoy a homemade meal prepared by his family in their traditional kitchen. After lunch, explore the village and hike to the longest and highest bridge in the Gorkha district.
Day 5: Trek from Gonggong Village to Yaruphant
Highest Altitude : 1170m.
Day 5: Gonggong Village to Yaruphant The journey continues with a scenic hike alongside the Budhi Gandaki River, passing multiple waterfalls and crossing several suspension bridges. The trail passes through Khorlabesi, known for its locally grown organic coffee, and Tatopani, a natural hot spring. The day ends at Yaruphant, where you will stay in a lodge with stunning views of rocky mountains, rivers, and waterfalls.
Day 6: Trek from Yaruphant to Chisopani
Highest Altitude : 1610m.
The trek enters the Manaslu Conservation Area at Jagat. The trail passes through beautiful Gurung villages such as Salleri (Khandobhoom), Tara (Sirdibas), and Pangshing, offering a cultural experience of the local way of life.
Day 7: Trek from Chisopani to Bhi Village
Highest Altitude : 2,130m.

Day 7: Trek from Chisopani to Bhi Village The hike consists of rocky mountain trails, dense forests, and multiple suspension bridge crossings. The route passes through several Kutang villages, including Nyak Phedi, Pewa, Deng, and Rana.
Day 8: Bhi Village to Serang Gompa

Day 8: Trek from Bhi Village to Serang Gompa A significant ascent takes you through breathtaking rocky mountain landscapes. The trail passes through deep and narrow mountain gorges, connected by suspension bridges that allow passage from one section of the mountain to another.
Day 9: Exploration Day at Serang Gompa
A full day is dedicated to experiencing the spiritual atmosphere of Serang Gompa. The morning begins with prayers and rituals conducted by nuns and monks. This is an opportunity to meditate, observe monastic life, and witness the simplicity of their daily routine. Depending on the season, you may even get a chance to see live avalanches cascading down the mountains.
Day 10: Hike to Guru Padmasambhava Holy Water
